TAECO
is well known in the aviation industry for its fast developing
and extensive aircraft service capability on Boeing and Airbus
aircraft. Over the years, TAECO Base Maintenance has developed
maintenance expertise on major modification such as Boeing B747-400
BCF and PEMCO B737-300 PTF modification.
TAECO also offers comprehensive maintenance service packages
including CPCP program, SSID program, AD inspection, mandatory
modification and avionics system upgrades. With increase capacity
complemented by an fifth hangar by mid of 2007 and its over
2,250 skilled technical staff, TAECO is capable of handle 10
wide body and three narrow body airplane input for heavy checks.
Technical Services
Team of dedicated professional engineers provide round-the-clock
engineering solutions to aircraft undergoing maintenance in
our facility including in-house design/development of structural
repair schemes, modification, etc, in close coordination with
customers' technical/QA personnel and associated National Aviation
Authorities. Department also holds Hong Kong CAD design approval.
Structural Modification
TAECO's sheet metal shop is responsible for repair and fabrication
of structural parts including nacelles during aircraft overhaul,
modification and conversion. The company has completed plenty
of B747 Section 41 modification and Pylon Modification since
1996.
Support
Shops
Airframe maintenance is complemented by a range of auxiliary
shops such as NDT, Machine Shop, Treatment Process Room, Paint
Shop, Cleaning Bay, Interior Cleaning, Pipe & Cable Bay,
Fabric & Composite Shop, Hot Bonding Room, Seat Bay, Carpet
Shop, Retrim Bay, Weighting and Carpenter Shop.
Avionics Upgrade
Extensive experience and expertise in avionics system upgrades
and cabin reconfiguration programs including sophisticated avionics
systems installations such as FMS, FANS, TAWS, FQIS, TCAS, ACARS
etc.
Quality Department
A dedicated Quality Department ensures TAECO far exceeds the
requirements of regulatory authorities and customers alike in
terms of services and quality standards. TAECO holds approvals
from CAAC, HKCAD, EASA, FAA, JCAB and many other regulatory
authorities.
Training
Training is done in-house in its dedicated Training School accommodating
up to 1,000 staff simultaneously. Courses include technical
training, license and aircraft type training and management
development programmes. The basic and type training courses
are HKAR-147 approved.
Supplies Resources
To ensure rapid turnaround times, TAECO develop partnership
with forwarders and airlines logistics division to get critical
parts on time. A well controlled bonded warehouse is also available
in TAECO.
Component Overhaul
TAECO has also established several Joint Ventures in Xiamen,
which are specialized in component repair & overhaul, with
OEMs including Goodrich and Honeywell. The target is to provide
a one-stop shop in the Asian Pacific region for Airlines.
